I haven't owned any since I was about 22 (30 years ago) and only had one pair that was ever comfortable (and they were white Levi 501's, not blue.) I could never find any that fit right and have always preferred pleated khakis.

Well, you and I have a serious disagreement there. I wear only UNPLEATED khakis. Get ‘em in the work clothes section of K-Mart, Walmart or Sears. And they often cost less than half of what you’d pay in a regular haberdashery shop.
