PRAGUE (Reuters) - A Czech court ruled on Tuesday that former Syrian Kurdish PYD leader Saleh Muslim be released, despite Turkey’s call for his detention pending an extradition request.

“The court ruled Mr. Muslim will be released,” a spokeswoman for the Prague Municipal Court, Marketa Puci, said, adding the ruling had taken legal effect as both the state attorney and the defense gave up their rights to appeal.
“The court accepted a promise by Mr. Muslim that he will remain on EU territory and will be attending court hearings.”

I think it is worth noting that it stated he would remain on EU territory. (not Czech)
The arrest warrant may have been intended to prevent Saleh from attending peace conference meetings in the EU.

Expel Turkey from NATO or withdraw the US from this archaic organization. It’s a bunch of weakling countries - and yes that includes my Canada! - who want to live under the protective umbrella of the US military without pulling their own weight. Not a nickel should be spent housing troops in European countries that trash American values and undermine its foreign policy.
It will come, unless Erdogan and supporters are taken from power.
