Surveillance footage from the Florida high school where 17 people were fatally shot and more than a dozen others wounded was not shown live, as responding officers initially thought.
It was on a 26-minute delay leading police to brace for a shootout when the gunman was actually long gone, Coral Springs Police Capt. Brad McKeone said.
[snip]
That tape delay was not accidental. Somebody set that camera system like that, and the only reason to do that would be to sabotage any defenses against an active shooter. So I view this as yet one more example indicating enemy action.

It also causes suspicion where none should exist.
so what is your theory why they were delayed?
See post #33. There was no “built in delay.” Fake news stoked by conspiracy loons.
The only good reason I can think of is that if they get a call from the school, the station can watch it develop on CCTV as they send out the call to responders. No need to find or rewind the footage. They can get eyes on it just as it starts to play out.
I likewise say it was the demonic Promise Program. It was instigated by the Obama Regime.
Fog of war. No conspiracy.
Don't most security videos usually have a time stamp on them?
If so a look at your watch would show a discrepancy.
Or perhaps no time stamp makes it easier to edit/delete tapes that show student behavior that could jeopardize your Federal grants. /s
Nice wheels Sheriff....Lamborgini?
Civil asset forfeiture. They love to make a show of the fancy ones, department livery and all.
Yes, usually in tiny print on the screen. Date, hour, minutes, seconds. I'm sure it was on the screen. Having also reviewed vids under stress, the brain doesn't function like sitting on an easy chair, eating cheetos, watching an HD monitor and freeping. Unless you are the one operating the controls (play, rewind, slow mo, reverse), it's confusing. And trying to pinpoint an AR shooter in a school, with a room full of wound up cops trying to find him, going nuts, all shouting and telling you what to do at the same time...the simple answer is ooops. Nothing more than that. Been there, done that, lower stress situation. It's easy to do.
26 minutes is a long time... but shorter intervals like 10-15 minutes is entirely reasonable if one goes out in the hall to watch the inter-class motions of students, then goes back in after finishing up conversation and getting a cup of coffee, to see if theres anything obvious missed.
So....the confusion was that the police didnt understand it was a DVR system - already engaged - rather than a direct feed.
A monitoring system shows real-time. A recording system keeps track of the past so you can re-examine anything you missed.
You might use the recording system to say, see who was somewhere at a point in time, then see where they came from and where they went. You can do theses things without knowing where they are right now - which is still useful for finding someone now.
also, even if you see the time stamp, it doesnt mean you are cognizant of what time it is now - especially if the difference is small.
WOW - Well, he’s certainly living the rock-star lifestyle.
Anything but actually DOING his job.
How about that. A Democrat who is all flash?
Whodathunk?
Looks like a Ferrari dealership. That’s the Ferrari logo upper center.
But yeah the car looks like a Lambo to me too.
Good point. I can only imagine the chaos, shouting, fear, anger, a small room full of pissed off and scared cops.
A handful of guy, guns drawn, mixed districts, unknown ranks, some in civvkes, all yelling at the same time:
“Wait! Is that him?!? Play it again!”
“NO! Fast forward!!!”
“Who is THAT???”
“There he is!”
“Stop the tape!”
“Start the tape!”
“Zoom in!”
“Play it backwards!”
Armchair investigators on the internet have no idea.
