How he came to that conclusion escapes me because every TV show clearly demonstrates that full auto ARs users, who never hit anything, are always brought down by 9 mil hand gun users.

O’Donnell claims 3200fps, when it is usually between 2300 and 2700fps. A Glock 34 is a little less than 1,400fps.
So, using the higher numbers for both, the bullet from the AR-15 takes 0.0111 seconds to travel 30 feet.
The bullet from the Glock 34 takes 0.0214 seconds, or about 1/100 of a second longer.
BTW, using the slower speed of 2300fps, the AR-15 takes 0.01314 sec.
