I appreciate the sentiment, but I do not think it is the place of the government to tell corporations whom to support (or not support).

Of course, in my opinion it is also not the place of government to provide welfare (e.g. fuel tax subsidies) to corporations.

Delta could have remained neutral and out of the politics that HOGG is promoting. They could have and they have chosen sides. Too bad.

Exactly on the sweetheart deals. Delta should be paying the tax no matter what.

As for the retaliation against Delta for making a simpering gesture to the student activists, that does not bother me so much. The power to remove tax implies the power to re-impose it for any reason.
