Georgia conservatives are attempting to derail a jet fuel tax break that the state government was set to hand out to Delta Airlines after the company cut ties with the NRA in the wake of the Parkland, Florida, school shooting.

As a not-so-wise man once said, "Punch back, twice as hard". He wasn't so wise, but he was right about that!
AWESOME
I’d love to see this happen.
I decided to take action against Delta and the way they align with the left in going after the NRA and its members, Debbie Dooley, an influential Atlanta-based Tea Party leader, told Breitbart News Sunday.
Good. F em.
Excellent
We don’t get even, we get more than even!
GA FReeper ping.
Good, even though in past I fly exclusively Delta. Not sure about that—as I’ve written in threads, we should boycott them. My alternatives aren’t pretty.
Wonderful! These damned corporate managers need to be put in jail for screwing around in politics with , wasting shareholder assets
Good, this is a model to follow elsewhere. Since all is war now everywhere, businesses, marches MSM propaganda and attacks on the Constitution and conservatives, the attacks should be returned 2X. Make them and their SJW and political allies feel the pain.
Trump: Trade an increase in the age of a an allowable purchaser of a gun from 18 to 21 in return for the increase in the age of the voting public from 18 to 21. If people are too immature at 18 to drink alcohol, smoke or buy guns then the damn well shouldn’t be voting!
I’d even carve out an exception for those within the military.
We’d save two birds with one stone.
Ann Coulter suggested that alternative rental car agencies might be Dollar-Thrifty and Payless . Dollar Thrifty is owned and controlled by Hertz and Payless is Budget-Avis .
Can Americans really STOP renting cars from these companies until they rescind their positions against NRA members ?
Here’s what the NRA said on Saturday :
Since the tragedy in Parkland, Florida, a number of companies have decided to sever their relationship with the NRA, in an effort to punish our members who are doctors, farmers, law enforcement officers, fire fighters, nurses, shop owners and school teachers that live in every American community. We are men and women who represent every American ethnic group, every one of the worlds religions and every form of political commitment, the NRA said in a statement Saturday evening.
The law-abiding members of the NRA had nothing at all to do with the failure of that schools security preparedness, the failure of Americas mental health system, the failure of the National Instant Check System or the cruel failures of both federal and local law enforcement.
The NRA slammed the corporations who have backed off as cowards who hid in a political storm and says others will simply replace them in time.
Despite that, some corporations have decided to punish NRA membership in a shameful display of political and civic cowardice. In time, these brands will be replaced by others who recognize that patriotism and determined commitment to Constitutional freedoms are characteristics of a marketplace they very much want to serve.
Let it be absolutely clear. The loss of a discount will neither scare nor distract one single NRA member from our mission to stand and defend the individual freedoms that have always made America the greatest nation in the world.
I don’t know about you, but I am dropping my NRA Life Membership because I can no longer get a 5% discount at Pottery Barn.
They're just as good if not a better fit, IMO.
“I dont know about you, but I am dropping my NRA Life Membership because I can no longer get a 5% discount at Pottery Barn.
That’s a good idea. I’m going to do that because I will no longer get a dollar off my second meal order at Luby’s.
If Delta loses the 400 mil, their costs will rise, making other airlines more competitive. The marketplace will adjust.
I’m dropping my NRA membership because a pencil necked high school kid and a skinhead high school girl said the NRA is Bad.
Curious - If Delta backs off their position vis á vis the NRA the taxpayers of Georgia will be back on the hook for the $400M. So, some Georgians are OK with subsidizing Delta via some other Georgians' cash.
