Lou has been critical of Sessions for a few weeks now. If Sessions IS working behind the scenes, this could be one of the biggest take downs in history. If he is NOT, this could be one of the biggest disappointments in history. Either way, epic.
Sessions has been taking so much heat recently, I wish he would put out some kind of signal that he IS doing his job, if he is. Right now even if he is working behind the scenes, it is so stealth that he sure is making himself look like a bad choice for AG. I hope like hell, he lowers the boom & vindicates himself - SOON.
Sara Carter mentioned the other day an April release of the OIG report. I had always heard it would be early to mid-March. A whole more month would really bring out the carping for Session's head. At this point people are so pissed off at him, there better be a BIG hammer coming down for him to regain his reputation. Not just another report that leads to more endless investigations, but finally indictments, prosecutions & handcuffs for real people, not some nebulous Russians.
They’ve been saying might March for a long time. Now it’s April? My God that’s frustrating.
If Sessions is feckless and doing nothing about these criminals, IMHO he is an honest and country loving man and would resign. Heck, he recused himself from the Russian probe at the drop of a hat. The fact that he’s hanging on in the midst of this criticism is telling me that something is coming soon.....but I’ve always been a naive believer that good will triumph.
