When I was a kid, we used to go down to the swampy side of the lake and grab big frogs with our kid hands.

We took the most promising to the field out back of the firehouse to where the summer races were set up.

The reason I bring this up is that in 2 weeks, no one will remember this gun grab BS, but the frog race lasts forever.

Then they need to get serious about punishing gun crimes. They need to ensure that anyone guilty of using a gun in a crime gets the maximum allowed for that crime and does not get any parole. They also need to ensure that the use of 'disparate impact' in sentencing be completely disregarded.

Of course, this will have a very disparate impact on minorities and sentence large numbers of them to prison with no chance at parole. But they will feel good about themselves.
