De Leon is the left-wing weasel that introduced SB 54, (which passed) and prohibits state and local law enforcement from assisting ICE.
One suspects that sb-54 is the "straw that broke the camel's back" for many (already disgusted) Cali citizens, and the major move-out will be coming in the next couple of years.
Difi might still be elected, but she will be pulled even farther to the lefty-left.

Democrats do not honestly vet their candidates. Somebody in the back office might know all this stuff, but they for sure are not going to let the public know if there is one “smidgen” of negative information.
