I think the democratic driveby media think they have a winner on this issue, Rod. It’s ALL about winning back power. They don’t care how they do it; what issue gives them it; just that it happens.

Trump seems to be the only person in DC with a rational approach on the issue. Time is the enemy of the Dems, their agenda only works in the emotional short term. The longer the debate goes on, the better Trumps program of dealith with school shooters will be communicated.
We don’t have a gun problem, we have a mental illness problem. Focusing on guns is akin to advocating banning pick up trucks after a drunk driving accident while doing nothing about the problem of drunk driving.
