No doubt. Those were some pretty bad years.
Well, mostly yes. I did pick an ‘82 hardtail black out strat with a maple fretboard and big head stock on ebay built in Fullerton. Must have been built when they were clearing the shelves and using whatever they happened to grab. It plays and sounds awesome.
