Transgenderism mandates the conclusion that there are only two sexes, male and female. Otherwise, how would one know if the change they are making is correct? A male adding female appliances and chemistry might otherwise be just as unhappy and discontent in that role.

1,320-6,630 is too large a range, for me to give the study any credibility.
What ranks are involved? How many years of service? What job skills involved?

Those who are already serving honorably, whose mutilations and hormone enhancements are completed and whose mental illness does not affect their work and attention to duty should be left alone. All others should be discharged, and no new candidates should be considered.

I suspect that the requirement for any soldier to be able to be deployed within 180 days will eliminate many transgenders.
From what I understand, these people going through tax payer funded treatments have up to 2 years of NOT being deployable, which conflicts with the recent proclamation that people have to be deployable or leave.
Disgusting Mattis knows this does not make the military readiness better.
So many of the general officers today are social liberals, more politicians than anything.
This is purposeful, those that are selected for stars are approved by Congress.
I wish we could all think about things for a while before we get our knickers in a twist.
Mattis’ new rule about being deployable goes to the heart of this issue.
He has court orders on this he has to follow, but he also realizes that “transitioning” takes longer than a year.
So, it you have already transitioned, and can be deployed, you are OK. But, no more operations at taxpayer expense because that takes someone out of the deployable category for more than a year. Go become a civilian and pay for your own perverted surgery.
Looks to me like we are stuck with some, and only some, of the ones we already have, but we don’t get any more — ever.
And, best of all it can be justified based on military necessity.

If you listen to Mattis’ confirmation hearings when he was grilled by democrats on transgenders he said he was not going into the new job looking to change things. When asked about homosexuals openly serving he said he didn’t care who adults slept with. Mattis is a social liberal and that’s why Obama liked him.
