I guess it's Trump's fault that the Palestinians conduct terrorism, kill Jews, launch missiles into Israel, and give donated US dollars to the families of suicide bombers. Maybe "trust, diplomacy and optimism" wouldn't "unravel" so quickly if they stopped doing that. As long as what the Palestinians say in English is different from what they say in Arabic, they can sit forever alone in their offices in the USA, and can be happy that they are allowed to do even that..
