It’s him or the Russians... They are likely responsible for ginning up most of these anti-everything protest. The media is stunned as doorknobs, so they just march along like a bunch of lemmings over the cliff.

Seems reasonable when 17 people are gunned down in a public school to want to “do something”, right?

“Reasonable” = “Rings Hollow”

What do you propose, confiscation? Because I bet if any one of them actually had a “plan” it would be THAT

Disagree?

Our local paper had an article, February 19th, about this teacher promoting a walkout: “Gina Marie Bernard, an English teacher at Bemidji High School, is organizing a “Women’s March Youth EMPOWER” walkout at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at the high school. The plan is to have students, teachers, school administrators and parents leave school buildings across the country for 17 minutes.”

Last night it was reported that the school superintendent and the principle came out against the walk-out, but maybe a pre-school gathering around the flagpole or a homeroom discussion could be held.

This is a partial excerpt from the website of the “group”:
Women’s March Youth Empower Toolkit
The Women’s March Youth EMPOWER Toolkit is an initiative of Women’s March Youth through a coalition with Peace First, Rise To Run, Teen Vogue, The Justice League NYC, The Gathering For Justice, and Rock The Vote. Women’s March EMPOWER upholds the unity principles of the Women’s March platform. Our goal is to provide young people with the tools needed to create high school and college chapters that guide students in making a positive impact in their communities. We believe that the single most powerful act we can do is prepare young people with the skills and commitments to take actions around causes that matter to them with courage, compassion and collaboration.
You can visit Peace First’s website to get more support and the chance to apply for a grant of up to $250.
Click here to register your EMPOWER chapter and apply for a mini-grant.

I wondered about the teacher coming out so fast with a planned event and that it seemed very organized. After going to the website and seeing that someone can apply for a chance to receive a grant of $250; there is money coming from somewhere for this large planned march. The website shows locations for the planned marches also.

They’re here in Florida asking the state House to issue a new “assault weapons” ban. The House had a vote to open debate. It went down in flames. Their strategy? Bus MORE students to Tallahassee.

This is beyond Soros. I would not be surprised to find out that the left is orchestrating all of this from the outset. Grieving communities do not go running to the state capitol less than a week after a tragedy to demand action on guns. That’s not normal. That’s pathological. They’re not grieving. They’re whoring for attention. They’re standing on the caskets of the dead demanding someone do something without realizing its their own ridiculous attitudes causing these problems in the first place.

Welcome to the United States, kiddies. This isn’t Australia. We don’t do things knee-jerk here. Our Founders saw this sort of mob rule crap as a threat and put roadblocks in the way to prevent it. Get over yourselves. If it’s a problem, move to Australia or the UK or some other backwoods leftist shithole.

I am listening to them now. I completely disagree with you. These kids were understandably traumatized and you want them to shut up and go away. Sorry - that is not the American way.

39 visits to Cruz’s home by the sheriff, but no NICS flag. 2 separate warnings to the FBI based on his own words online, but no flag and no investigation.

How did the existing laws, as written, fail?

They didn’t. Enforcement did.

Sorry. I don’t buy the argument. They’re being pushed to do this. This isn’t something they would do uninitiated. They are being led by a leftist cabal. I’ve lost friends to drunk drivers, and I didn’t think to go stand on the capitol grounds demanding they prohibit the sale of assault liquors.

Clarke has balls that seem to be missing by people on our side. They are too scared of the media to stand for the truth.

Hogg, who claims to be a student at Parkland, actually graduated in 2015 from Redondo Shores HS in southern California, and ‘always wanted to be an actor.’ Well, whatddya know? Soros Spawn if ever there was one. Who paid to bus the kids to the Governor’s office? Did the school get ADA? Did the teachers get paid? Did the parents get paid so their students could be USED by Soros et al for their Commie Agenda? The questions never cease.

That people continue to post and believe this drivel is remarkable. This was quickly debunked as soon as the photoshopped yearbook picture hit the Internet. If conservatives want to be taken seriously, we cannot post every bit of #FakeNews we see on Facebook.

Have you lost a friend who was shot to death in your school classroom?

Remember the war protests in the 60s? Some kids can think for themselves.

Soros and others have been financing Antifa, BLM and other groups to fracture America.

Divide and conquer works.

By that standard, I’m not able to comment. I’m closing in on 40 but not quite there yet, so no, I can’t say I remember the war protests of the 60s.

What I do know, however, is that today’s youth is lost and starving for attention. Sometime between now and the late 90s, the kids in this country lost their souls and took to violent acts as an acceptable outlet.

I was in college when Columbine happened and couldn’t help but think that just a few years before I was sitting in a high school classroom surrounded by frustrated, impetuous boys who spent the weekend plinking cans off a fence with a .22 or firing shotguns at tins cans. Not a single one of us ever considered taking that rifle or those shotguns to school to vent our frustrations.

What’s different? We were God-fearing, church going boys. We loved our mothers and listened to our fathers. We respected our elders, didn’t talk back, and knew when we were beat either intellectually or physically. Kids today take to social media to vent, bully, whine, cry, threaten, etc. That’s just a hollow echo chamber. They’re not getting out their frustrations; they’re being called crybaby or queer or dumb or psycho. There’s no discourse left in this country. We’re a hollowed out tree stump waiting for a hard rain or a stiff wind.

These are intelligent kids from a well-to-do city. Very well-spoken and able to get their points across. I bet their parents are proud. I’m actually shocked at the lack of empathy on here. Maybe it hit me harder because I used to live in Broward.
