I think Dwaine would feel more at home in Austin than Dallas.
Dallas proper is every bit as blue as Austin, maybe even more so. San Antonio, Houston, El Paso and Dallas are all VERY VERY blue.

Even NW Dallas? I could see downtown being that way, but not sure about the outer suburbs.
