No, its not just the number increase! If you add the letter capitalized ‘M’ you increase the deadliness many times! ‘M” is higher in the alphabet than a mere “AR’. Any fool can see that.

Wrong! AR-15 =- 5 characters vs M-16 = 4 characters. The dashes are included.
