Student survivors of the horrific Parkland, FL school shooting spoke on multiple Sunday shows today, and one of the students had a very direct message for President Trump.
Trump claimed yesterday that Democrats “didn’t want to” solve the gun problem. David Hogg, who said the day after the shooting that “children will continue to die if we don’t take a stand now,” looked into the camera on CBS’ Face the Nation and said this to the President:
“President Trump, you control the House of Representatives, you control the Senate, and you control the executive. You haven’t taken a single bill for mental health care or gun control and passed it. And that’s pathetic. We’ve seen a government shutdown, we’ve seen tax reform, but nothing to save our children’s lives. Are you kidding me? You think now is the time to focus on the past and not the future to prevent the death of thousands of other children? You sicken me.”

Long before any gun was purchased there were multiple failures by several agencies to intervene when Cruz exhibited disturbing behavior. But that can’t be brought up because it suggest personal responsibility on the behalf of not only Cruz but all those people who failed to act. In a culture that celebrates victim hood you can’t allow that. Better to fault an inanimate object and treat it like some angry idol.

I think this kid should do a little bit of homework on how the government works before he starts running his mouth. Democrats are smart..they didn’t do anything during Obama’s Presidency because they KNEW it would cost them both houses..so they did nothing..they know there are plenty of Democrats who are gun owners..so now they want Republicans to do it, so they can have clean hands and say “Hey we didnt take away your gun rights, Republicans did”
