Sept 2017 Youtuber notified FBI of “professional school shooter” comment by someone who calls himself Nikolas Cruz. FBI complains they don’t know or can’t figure out who left the comment; does not pursue.
The local LEOs, school & country health were well aware of growing a potential problem - what 39 incidents? After 10 (and that’s too many!) you would think they would have put their foot down on the family and Cruz. Florida has the “Baker Act” yet in this case chose not to use it.
Relying on far away DC & Federal LEOs was a huge mistake.
IMO its silly to blame them now! If anything you’re transferring the blame to the least effective potential deterrent.
