I had people working for me, who were in debt for college loans, well over $100,000. at the age of 22 or 23. Some had to live with mom and dad, because they couldn’t afford to rent.
If they purchase a vehicle, with another payment, there is no end in sight to be debt free. These people do not have the luxury of free time to read, being well-informed about politics. There is too much stress with the challenge of paying bills. It is a struggle that goes on for years and years.
Great post and it’s all so unnecessary. Kill govt. student loans at higher amounts and the ivy league will have to get real again.
