I’m willing to believe that Hillary’s and Obama’s crimes are more serious than Watergate. I’m not willing to believe that Nixon was unfairly forced from office by the media.

A certain amount of dirty tricks was standard for politics then, and continues today. The people in Watergate believed they were simply repaying the favor for dirty tricks done to them.
What was different about Watergate was the full throated use of all the progressive media to destroy their hated “enemy” Richard Nixon.
They had already succeeded in destroying McCarthy and in getting Kennedy elected over Nixon the first time.
Watergate was where the Mediacracy showed they controlled the political process much more than the politicians or parties did.
Odd. My recollection is that at least 48 people were convicted of felonies, quite a few for perjury, and most of the people were lawyers.
