The FBI has an... “interesting” relationship with high profile cases and early reports of multiple perpetrators: OKC and Sandy Hook spring immediately to mind.
My point is that they’ve undermined their credibility so badly that it’s easy to think of them as “the enemy”/rogue — the Bundy ranch; Lavoy Finicum; Waco; Ruby Ridge; and Comey’s “no intent” speech all paint a picture of an agency without restraint and without morals, which can [and does] murder citizens without remorse.
