marriage, driver's license, entering into contracts, credit,.....the whole ball of wax.

I'm pro 2nd Amend. and pro carry, by the way. But 21 is the magic figure for everything... IMHO.

Well, it used to be it was only voting. Infantilizing a country overall? I don’t think so.

Well the left started their political belly aching about guns while the situation was happening........they have blinders on when people are dead, can't see anything but their agenda. and that's just how ‘far into darkness’ the left is now.

'Life' have no meaning or value to the left apart from stepping stones to their political agenda.

Yep.......shooter was intent on killing kids no matter what he would use to accomplish that. Guns, fire, acid, whatever he would have still attempted to kill kids at ‘that’ school.

No, but better to train the frightened masses about firearms than to have them perpetually afraid at the mere sight of them. Gun free zones are the most dangerous locations around because they prevent law abiding people the means of defense from the non law abiding.

Do you really think making the legal age to even TOUCH a firearm at 21 is really going to prevent this? What next, you have to be 21 to own a pressure cooker? Fertilizer? Diesel fuel?

What I find disparaging is that people really don’t believe kids can be mature. And the kids know this, and milk it overtly or covertly.

Look.. the world has passed the point of no return.....the stage is being set for future events just as is written will be......we are told these days would certainly be as we now see them and it’s just not going to get better... Wishful thinking isn’t going to change the trajectory.

Further being spiritual or not isn’t going to change the overall nature of mankind who ‘all’ are capable of killing and injuring others..and do.

At best we can secure our homes and families as best as possible. But then it’s always been that.....people just want it otherwise.

This school in Florida had the good sense to kick this guy out in order to protect the rest of the students but my question is whether or not this confessed mass killer was neglected by the FBI due to bias? We are so used to people complaining about profiling but there is no denying that in this case the perp and the rest of the world would be much better off today had someone at the FBI acted on the information that they had on this guy.

Was this tragedy a consequence of intentional or unintentional bias? It seems clear that everyone knew this guy was going to do something like this and that it was only a matter of time.

I remember one case that was similar. There was a complete whack-job on the loose who had been fired as a teacher. People were quitting their jobs so they wouldn’t have to deal with him. A Republican elected official stepped down out of fear for his own safety as well as that of his staff and his family. It was only a matter of time before the former teacher did something horrible. Eventually, he tried but came up against a very determined and formidable elementary school principal and brave teachers who disarmed him and took him down before he could harm the kids.

Now if I had done even a small fraction of what either of these guys had done, various authorities would have come down on me like a ton of bricks. Threaten a politician? His staff?? I actually get in trouble for not tap-dancing around giant inflated egos and incompetent nitwits quickly enough!!

Until then we can only do our best to protect our families....laws are useless to the criminally minded and insane. They see jail time as a ‘passage’ into their circles because there is no punishment within our prison system....it’s comfort city for them....room and board, card games, basketball and weight lifting.

Sure, kids can "Act" mature, on rare occasions....like when they want the keys to the family chariot for a "date". Yeah right, "Mature" until they drive your Buick into a lamppost on Saturday night with 5 passengers and a puddle of vomit on the back seat.

Sorry, IMHO it should be 21 ...and this has been my opinion since I was 21.

The metrosexual left longs for another Mac Daddy like Obama who will simply issue an Executive Order and abolish gun ownership

Then get into single handedly issuing EO’s to deal with those other pesky parts of the Constitution that are too cumbersome to address and change in the prescribed way

Rule by fiat is fine with progressives- as long as one of their own is in charge

But lets see Trump issue an EO about immigration....

A person murdered over 200 people in NYC by simply using gasoline and matches and completely setting the lower floors on fire, so that hundredshe if people had to either jump to serious injury or death multiple stories down or just stay and die from smoke/burning. It was a Latino celebration and the guy was pissed off at his girlfriend for dumping him.

.....”the world would be much better off today had someone at the FBI acted on the information that they had on this guy.”.....

Well they did....the guy had broken no laws and had no previous record so what are they suppose to do? There are bad people out there 24/7 how can you watch all? You cannot.

School authorities did what they could, so did the parent, and FBI....this shooter wanted to kill kids at that school be it a gun or whatever he was intent on doing great damage....regardless of who intervened.

Well, you are entitled to your opinion, but I will vote against any candidate that thinks this way.

“Steve Scalise: No ‘magic law’ will stop mass shootings....”
********************************************************

I have read countless articles where Guys nd Gals w/Guns have stopped robberies, shootings, etc. because they happened to be there and were armed! This is happening all across this land.

This can also work in the schools of America!
All it takes is a call for volunteers/Guys and Gals w/Guns!

ASK AND THEY WILL COME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Retirees, Cops, Former Militay,Etc.
They are out there and willing to serve voluntarily!

But they have to be authorized and organized! That takes government and/or someone w/the public persona to reach media/polticians/the public to get gubmint off its @$$ and MOVE!!

Gunny G@PlanetWTF!
TRUMP.45 IF WE CAN KEEP HIM?

It's not about gun ownership.......in all these cases these people had serious issues of which no amount of intervention would have deterred them... once they decide to act they do. They're commonly called ‘bad eggs’ for a reason and society is not going to eliminate them by laws they don't follow anyway.

The left doesn't see good or bad people, dead or alive doesn't matter one iota to them as life has no particular significance to them except their own. They kill their own babies and encourage society and the world to do likewise.....so it's never about live issues..it's always about their political security and agenda.

A person close to Cruz contacted the FBI on January 5 to report concerns about him, the FBI said. But the bureau did not appropriately follow established protocols in following up on the tip.

Well that is the ONLY possible solution and one that has the ability to actually put into place. Schools are not going to get safer by ‘hiding under desks’ as a means of defense....
