Alicia Blonde, a teacher at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, remembered school shooter Nikolas Cruz as someone who had a "pride issue" with his Hispanic background and "didn't feel comfortable in his own skin, in his culture."
Blonde lamented that Cruz "didn't really like to speak Spanish too much."

That narrative seems to be all over the place regarding Nicolas de Jesus Cruz being a "white supremacist" who had hispanic pride issues.
"Three former schoolmates of Cruz told ABC News that Cruz was part of the group. They claimed he marched with the group frequently and was often seen with Jereb, who also confirmed to ABC News that Cruz was, at least at one point, part of that group."
But yet...

To me it looks like the same person..maybe with a different hair color but hey I could be wrong

He’s not Hispanic. He was adopted by Hispanics. He’s probably Eastern European.
Not sure where that shirt came from but it had Karl Marx wearing a lampshade, Lenin dancing, etc. Was literally a “communist ‘party’ shirt.”
Guy wearing it had the same eyebrows as the shooter though his eyes looked darker.
Could be, his name’s spelled Nicolas as opposed to Nicholas.
That’s what I’m thinking. Was his adoptive name Hispanic? He looks white. The name “Nikolas” is Greek.
Frankly, that teacher sounds nutso. Who cares if he didn’t want to speak Spanish and was she forcing him to? What sort of teacher “breaks” a kid?
Put together like that, it does look like the same person. Hazel eyes can look quite variable and hair color can change dramatically with sun exposure, age, or dye.
The commie shirt guy doesn’t appear to be freckled but that could be camera exposure.
The UK news seem to connect his birth with a woman with a Russian name (not his birth mother).
Ok, found it myself. Cruz is the adoptive father’s name. Brother’s name is Zachary, so again, not Hispanic. Adopted mother, Lynda, with a cousin named Kathie Blaine, doesn’t appear Hispanic, either. Barbara Kumbatovic is her sister in law so that would mean Kumbatovic is the adoptive mother’s maiden name. So, yeah, that teacher is nutso.

Even more racist for her to expect him to speak Spanish and recite “Por la raza todo, fuera de la raza nada” on command just because he has a hispanic last name.
