They don't waste any time do they. How about we discuss why the FBI was wasting all their time trying to help a multiple felon who is above the law steal the Presidential election instead of investigating a lunatic who was making terrorist threats on the internet, who was writing Allahu Akbar, who was dressing up as an ISIS member while posing with guns and knives, who was concerning people so much that they banned him from school grounds?

Not just the guns -- the Instagram photo of the (apparently) freshly killed toad is a clue. Jeffrey Dahmer enjoyed torturing and killing animals.

55 years ago -- prior to the Community Mental Health Act of 1963 -- someone who was bat**** crazy would have been forced to get help, like it or not. And now, in 2018 -- everyone is a unique and precious little snowflake, the mental hospital population is very small and the jail/prison population is very high. A person who is mentally ill can't just demonstrate that he is dangerously mentally ill before being incarcerated. He needs to be dangerously mentally ill AND murder 17 people. Mass school shootings didn't happen before 1963. The first was 1966.

Solution? I'd propose repealing the Community Mental Health Act of 1963 and reopening mental hospitals.

Same sort of thing happened up here. In 1990, the Ontario provincial government passed similar legislation and persons suffering from schizophrenia were to be no longer forced legally to take their medication. Five years later, a high profile incident involving CJOH-TV (Ottawa’s CTV outlet) sportscaster Brian Smith being senselessly gunned down in the TV station’s parking lot took place, at the hands of a schizophrenic drifter who refused to take his medication. Smith’s widow, Alana Kainz, then lobbied for the government to reform the 1990 law as to no longer permit these people from wandering about aimlessly and being that sort of a threat to others.

I’m for that, my father says he remembers the days in the 1950s where the “men in the white coats” would come and get a nut off the street. Like you said it’s ridiculous what they got to go through to do that today.

I’m reminded of that actress from a few years ago Amanda Bynes who has schizophrenia and her own PARENTS for years were trying to get her off the street and into a hospital as she got worse and worse. She was completely out of her mind and the sad part is the press was exploiting it daily. She then threw a bong out the window of her hi-rise hitting someone in the head. The cops then came and arrested her for marijuana possession, that STILL didn’t get her off the street. It was only when she was caught dousing a dog with gasoline and then starting a fire in a strangers driveway with her pants off did a judge finally allow her parents to get her hospitalized of which I believe they had to trick her into doing. To me it was amazing because I said this girl is going to kill someone, that’s obvious as hell, and the judge just would not commit her. They either wait until they kill someone or nearly burn someones house down..........
