When the article portrays a politician negatively, it's amazing how predictable the "journalistic practices" are.
Had this been a Republican or conservative, it would've been in the headline, followed by several mentions in the text, just in case the reader missed it the first four times.

In the future you can save time. If the party affiliation is not in the headline or in bold at least 3 times in the first sentence, the odds that it is a demonrat approaches certainty
