Is he a communist and a subversive, or just an idiot who pissed away his vote? I’m thinking the former. A frivolous vote wouldn’t seem to be something that would stick in one’s conscience, or even memory, for forty years.

Look at the audience where he chose to share this decades old indiscretion. He knew they wouldn't care!
