....as a student,I would only participate (sports)at venues
that played the anthem....
I was in every football game in high school and for the life of me, I don’t remember the National Anthem being played. This was from 1983-1987. I think this National Anthem thing is a new thing. In fact, they never played the National Anthem at professional football games until after 9/11. So all this is very new.
