Well said. Just to reiterate, Jesus Christ died for the sins of all humanity, so that any sinner is able to face God the Father, through faith in Christ, turn away from his sin, confess his sins and be forgiven of them, so that the person might have fellowship with God.

God has no fellowship with sin.

Any homosexual who fails to turn away from homosexuality has no fellowship with God. It is only available to those who turn away from sin, face God and confess and repent their sin through faith in what Christ provided them on the Cross.

Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world 2000 years ago (1 John 2:2). The ONLY sin God judges is that of refusing the free gift of Jesus Christ and his free gift of salvation (John 3:16-18).

Receiving Christ transforms a sinner into the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Cor 5:21). Righteousness is not what we do, it is what Jesus did - righteousness is a gift from God to us by grace (Rom 5:17).

The New Covenant for the believer states that God will NEVER remember our sins and iniquities EVER again (that’s past, present, and future) (Heb 8:12; 10:17). God righteously forgives all of our sins because they were all righteously and fully judged on the body of Christ on the cross. Christianity is not “do” but “DONE”. “It is finished” (John 19:30).

Once someone has received Christ he is redeemed forever having ALL of his sins, past, present, and future are washed away by the blood of Jesus. Christ fully received and bore on his body on the cross, all of God’s wrath, condemnation judgement of all the sins of everyone who has ever and will ever live.

God would be unrighteous to condemn the sins of a believer because God would be committing double jeopardy - condemning and judging the same sin twice - once on the body of Christ and then again against the believer. God will never do that because that would be unrighteous. Neither should we do that.

Having said all of that, there is NO validity to political or legal “sodomite rights” which should be resisted and reversed at every turn. Sodomites have no more special rights than any of the rest of us. Their sodomy certainly gives them no special rights. Their rights are God-given at birth, not derived from their acts, especially not deviant acts like sodomy.
