It really is sad.
25 years ago they were my go to Network.
I was glued to them during the first Gulf War.
They started to die the day Peter Arnett reported from Saddam’s “Baby Milk Factory” with a straight face.
Me too. CNN was all we watched on deployment.
CNN has made two fundamental errors:
First, the word news has a critical element: three of the four letters are required, that is, the information has to be new.
Day after day they drone on and on with another panel of “experts” gnawing on the same topic.
Second, they have violated the most sacred rule of public personalities: they are boring. Being boring is the surest way of being shunned.
