To: Tax-chick

LOL! Tom is probably dragging his feet in anticipation of his own set of wheels. And yes, they grow out of it to a certain extent, but that’s only because when they move out, other people are less tolerant of their drama than family, which has grown to expect it.

When you tell me of Sally, I see my own daughter. The situation was different but end result was predictable.

So. Erasing all that mentally, Happy Valentine’s Day!

It is my first husband’s birthday, and I never had a Valentine card, dinner or flower as long as I was married to him. HE was the drama queen in his mother’s family. (Since then, I don’t care. It’s just another day.)

True, it’s Valentine’s Day. DP and I don’t observe it, because we just had our wedding anniversary on Feb. 4. However, this year I gave him a card I’d made at the church ladies’ craft event. Inside, I wrote, “Happy Ash Wednesday! I hope you have a miserable day and a penitential Lent!”
