Joo-dee, Joo-dee, Joo-dee.
As I re-read that I realize a Cary Grant impression doesn’t come out well in print.
Nope.
That’s OK. I heard it in my mind’s eye. My mind’s ear? Whatever.
This tiny kitten has no tail.
“Dis my fing. You no touch.”
Good morning. I think its Thursday. I’m not sure because life is funny that way.
It is Thursday. My calendar says so. Also my computer.
I have about an hour before I take the little children and the carpool riders to VBS. Then I’m going to get new rear tires on the van. The shop is conveniently located near the bank and a Harris Teeter, so I’ll do some other business while waiting.
catnip....it's a helluva drug
Aw, cutes!
I just checked the medical website and was met with this news: Cholesterol - 142; HDL cholesterol - 66; Triglycerides - 52.
Not bad for an ol’ broad. No meds to keep it that low, either, on a diet of meat and dairy. Yay, me.
At 0650, I’ll drive to Walgreen’s and get the latest in prescriptions. While I was in St George, the portable nebulizer was clogged up for some reason, and I wasn’t getting any of the meds I was trying to take. I took it apart and borrowed some rubbing alcohol and cleaned it up. No wonder I was so cranky about the goings on... I figure I missed at least nine doses.
I told my son when I get tired I get stupid and when I get stupid I say stupid things and when that happens, there’s no going back. Time to dump me unceremoniously into the nearest bed-like receptacle. Looking back, I think the lack of meds had as much to do with it as anything else.
That makes your tongue hang out for sure! LOL!
Congrats on your good blood! Mine is healthy, too.
Off to VBS in a few minutes.
My wife has been watching documentaries about WW II on YouTube. She told me last night that the education of the young in Nazi Germany included the information that black people have tails. Apparently one black soldier liberating Germany had to take some steps to correct the misinformation.
Have a Snickers. You’re not yourself when you’re hungry.
My sugar was a little high, but it isn’t worrisome. Usually, it’s around 90 or less, so I just need to make sure I stop with the hypoglycemia roller coaster.
I’m thinking doctors label everyone over 60 as “prediabetic” because it showed up for the first time on this test. I’m not sure the blood had anything to do with it (the entire medical record is there for me to look at, including the last OV I had) but I’ll make sure that I stick to the diet a little more closely. Losing weight will help. And most of that will happen when I move. :o]
Amusing. Funny if a whole unit did it.
Better.
Afternoon, y’all. Back from setting up the pool for the swim meet, for which the weather omens are not looking good. Next, I’m going to cut up some melons.
For whatever reason that just made me think of the swimming pool incident in “Passengers.” While I have some questions about the physics involved the movie making and the sense of imminent peril was pretty stunning.
Anyway, I hope there are no gravity incidents at the meet. Weather is bad enough.
