I agree that making it harder to scam the system is possible...but we have an entire political party with a vested interest in increasing the scam.

Even before we get to the stage of tying a card to a person, we should investigate falsified eligibility used to attain those cards. In Kansas, the sec of state did a very minor computer check, just to see how many names popped up as duplicate between Kansas and Missouri (we have a shared metro area, and it is very easy to sign up in both states at once). For his efforts, the sec of state was vilified, called racists, etc, etc, etc.

Which response was an unintended admission that they (the leftist whiners) believe that there will be a strong racial component in the violations discovered. How about that, Kansas and Missouri blacks? It shows what the white progressives really think about you!
