The Democrats will not revise the memo but instead will sit on it and accuse Trump of using his office to hide the truth. It suits their purposes better that way.

They won't be able to sit on the memo as it is, and Trump has already rejected it and sent it back. The ball is on their court now. There is no further negotiations necessary. Trump is not at fault here, and democrats know it, no matter how much spinning they attempt.

Plus, democrats have a "sample memo" to serve as a guide for "improving" their memo, even if the contents are different.

And they'll sit on the ball. They will say that they tried to release the facts and the President refused to allow it. So they'll claim that Trump is trying to keep the truth from the American people.

It's questionable whether they wanted the memo released to begin with.
