I consider FMD his surrogate father. I am persuaded that Bapak Muhammad Subuh Sumohadiwidjojo, leader of the obscure quasi-Islamic SUBUD cult to which both Ann Dunham and Loretta Fuddy belonged, was his biological father.

Bapak’s contiguity with Dunham plus physiognomy versus Soetoro are extremely compelling; Fuddy’s unique place in Soetoro’s history and Hawaii’s bureacracy, and her subsequent singular demise amidst other plane crash survivors, seal the deal for me:
