President Trump is declining to read his daily brief and is instead having officials orally brief him on certain issues, The Washington Post reported Friday.
Trump is breaking with precedent set by seven past presidents in choosing to rarely read the daily briefing, which includes what officials have deemed to be the most important U.S. intelligence from hot spots around the globe.
Reading the report is not Trump's chosen "style of learning," one source told The Post.

You cant question a folder. You CAN question a speaker...
What the public doesn’t see is the face-to-face briefing that CIA Director Mike Pompeo delivers most days to President Trump. In a relatively rare speech, Pompeo on Tuesday offered a window into the president’s daily briefing and pushed back against reports that Trump is not engaged.
“The president asks hard questions; he’s deeply engaged; we’ll have rambunctious back and forth,” Pompeo said of the 30- to 40-minute meetings that regularly include national security adviser H.R. McMaster and Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats.

The Hill is conservative? What do you mean by “conservative”? It’s not QUITE as bad as WaPo which is a cesspit, but The Hill idiocy is sourcedon WaPo.
Why even discuss Fake News?
Do you not know that Kelly was misquoted by the media and that the White House press pool had to issue a correction?

Negative points?
Expect to hear the MSM exclaim that his hands are too small to hold the papers.
“Producing and presenting the brief is the responsibility of the Director of National Intelligence,[1] whose office is tasked with fusing intelligence from the Central Intelligence Agency, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and other members of the U.S. Intelligence Community. The brief is also produced for the President-elect of the United States, between election day and inauguration.”
I get it. Fake news reporting of another fake news source based on a fake source.
This gives Pres. Trump the opportunity to ask questions imo.
Agreed.
POMPEO: Yes, those statements are just absurd, Chris. I mean, just pure fantasy.
My personal experience — I was with the president yesterday at Camp David. I’m with him almost every day. When we talk about some of the most serious matters facing America and the world, complex issues, the president is engaged, he understands the complexity, he asks really difficult questions of our team at the CIA so that we can provide him the information that he needs to make good informed policy decisions.
And I watched him do that. I watched him take the information that the intelligence community delivers and translate that into policies that are of enormous benefit to America.
I prefer watching tutorials and lectures over reading manuals.
Big whoop.
so the eff what? Obama skipped it altogether
Bill Clinton preferred Oral and he wore boxers, didn’t care for the briefs.
Liars. Obama was not briefed at all for weeks at a time, a time when we were fighting wars on two fronts. Go back and check the Daily Signal, Sept. 11, 2012, the day the Benghazi massacre occurred.
listen smartass, napscoordinator has been here a long time, watch your verbage
The last 7 Presidents presided over the destruction of the Republic. But at least they read whatever crap was put in front of them by bureaucrats.
At least he gets one
