Look, FReepers, this site itself is run by conservative Californians. Have you seen the voting in CA? The unenfranchised conservatives here exist. Look at the sheer numbers of us. We were gerrymandered and propositioned (with lying commercials to the Gullibles) and outnumbered by people who don’t even belong here.
It’s offensive to act as though there aren’t lefties everywhere and as if those of us who want to leave, your fellow conservatives, are gong to ruin your states.
This was a beautiful place, many of us have roots here, but how can we stay? Where do you suppose your fellow decent conservatives who happened to be born or live in CA should go? No room at the inn for us, eh?
The CA conservatives I know aren’t about to leave under any circumstance, it’s their home come what may, they’ll make a stand if they have to. They’re not in cities, though.
You can’t change their minds. I have to listen to this crap every day here about NYC - even though there are conservatives here too.

Myself, I've already planned my exodus from NYS. I'm a year away from moving out.
And I would add about NYC, that on my fathers side of the family, many conservative voters left the southern part of Brooklyn for Florida. And they are now replaced in the northern part of Brooklyn by white leftist dee bag misfits who left where they grew up in the south and the midwest, and moved in up here.
We had the national GOPe cutting the legs off of Tea party candidate Tim Donnelly while forcing Obama clone Neel Kashkari on us as our choice for governor. Anyone paying attention here in Cali said to hell with that fake.
So for all of those blaming us for the disaster that our state has become we can only say that that disaster got a whole lot of encouragement from the GOPe and Bush Republicans. Viva La Raza, Jobs Americans Won’t Do, illegal immigration is An Act of Love. It’s not California conservatives spewing that crap.
