I hear you. We erred on Bush.
What bothers me is that Trump is calling the “Russia, Russia, Russia” thing a hoax, but only in regard to himself
concerning the collusion charge lodged against him and the ridiculous dossier.
What happened to the report that Russia pulled off a simple *phishing* attempt directed to John Podesta’s computer, and he FELL for it. Podesta let them in, on the advice of his IT guy.
Why did that phishing fact get lost and turned instead into a “hacking” event, as if Podesta didn’t open the dang door himself. Being hacked is quite different, but I suppose it serves to makes him seem the helpless victim. He was not helpless. He was duped.

No, all that has been proven was that Podesta was phished. The Obama security agencies CLAIM they can prove it was Russia.
It was not a Russian operation. See Wikileaks “umbrage”.
And can anyone answer me why a nation state like Russia would have any NEED to phish Podesta? They had free access to Hillary’s homebrew server which was basically wide open.
The “Podesta got phished by Russia” scam is step one.
Then all those emails of his were supposed to be used in support of Trump.
The Podesta/Russia, or other Russia/Hacking claims are essential if someone wants to argue that Russia intervened to assist Trump illicitly. It is a full lie.
The truth is that this was a CIA/State/FBI operation designed to create the outcome they wanted in the election. It was a more sophisticated version of blowing JFK’s head off, and nothing else.
Russia wasn’t involved.
