Is it legal to publicly announce interviews of confidential informants in criminal investigations?
CNN is reporting fake news again. The informant, William Campbell, was once ‘confidential’, but has been well known for a while. It appears he is being interviewed by Senate Judiciary, not the House committee, and it has long been scheduled.
Some of the delay in appearing has been due to Campbell’s health problems. His info has been in the committee’s hands for weeks.
