Mueller, Rosenweasel and their deep state cadre can no longer operate with the impunity they’ve enjoyed previously. They must assume that at some point Sessions will be gone and the investigative hounds will be unleashed upon them. Mueller has to temper his team’s illegal biases at the minimum. Maybe. But President Trump should certainly take the advice of John Dowd, his lawyer. It wouldn't make sense for the President to take any chances, especially under these bizarre circumstances.

If you were in Mueller's shoes would you just close up shop or would you make yourself useful to the opposing team? Would you make a deal and go after the real bad actors or would you risk being part of a conspiracy to take out a sitting US president, when that president controls all intel agencies now and has a cabinet full of Generals with their own intel agency???

I do not see Mueller being a stupid person as he survived in DC for so long in such high positions. I do not see Mueller closing up shop without trying to save his skin and being very, very useful, especially since his skin also needs saving being part of some of the mess...but then again I have never seen anything like what has been going on in DC. The fact that all the committees are fighting the left with their memos tells me something is actually in the works to be done about the last administrations abuse of power. We are in the midst of an education of the American public to prepare them for what they already have planned.
