SEDITION
An overt subversive act which leads to incitement against status quo or authority or order. It is a challenge to the establishment.
TREASON.
Betrayal of trust or faith; treachery. violation of the allegiance owed to one’s sovereign or state; betrayal of one’s country.
Conspiracy...no way this does not engulf Loretta Lynch and Comey...
Except that treason is different. Sedition is the correct charge along with conspiracy as someone else pointed out. Mostly likely they will plea to conspiracy, lying to investigators, etc. We are still, fortunately, ruled by law, not revenge. They need to be charged on the laws they broke.
That’s a great observation. Consider that Mueller hired both of those a-holes. He is Comey’s buddy and they are all going to protect Comey, McCabe, etc.
Sedition and Treason often get blurred.
Sedition is by and large an OVERT act of rebellion. Until recently, the acts of the Deep State have not been confirmed as they have been kept hidden, i.e. COVERT.
Treason is by and large COVERT, hidden from leaders, commanders, establishment authorities.
Sedition is characterized by open rebellion and vocal opposition. The Confederate States of America were considered as seditionists.
Treason is marked by lies, duplicity, double agents. Treason is known in the public awareness by examples of Benedict Arnold, the Rosenbergs, and others.
Congress Member Gosar is calling for charges of Treason. He’s a sharp one. I would not argue semantics with him.

I will try for the millionth time to explain why, in the USA, we don’t just put people in legirons cuz some people want it.
Notice that neither Flynn, nor Manafort, nor Papadickless, all of whom have negotiated pleas or been charged, are in jail. This has been months. Not saying any SHOULD be. I’m saying, if you want instant arrests, here you have three people charged, two pleaded out, and none of them are in jail.
Khalid Sheik Mohammed, while in jail, has not even been brought to trial yet.
We have a thing called “due process,” and IF you want a conviction and people in jail, the very first step is that you do NOT arrest them until you are 100% sure you can convict them.
And that is what a regular old Highway Patrol, or local prosecutor would tell you.
Now multiply that by a billion by those in DC and the media who will fight this process tooth and nail, who will obstruct, attack, and do everything in their power to make sure no convictions happen. Now you have an even higher bar: you have to have such an airtight case that DESPITE their efforts you can get convictions.
Gotti took five years from initial wiretap to jury trial. Hanssen took two years from “we’re sure he’s a spy” to arrest. Two years.
The reason they ALL are so focused on “more investigations” and more facts is that once you move it’s over. You either get a conviction on ALL or all of them walk. You only get once chance. And no, the Republic will not be going anywhere.

True, but there are elements to prosecute. Prosecuting Attorneys will drill down on the crimes and statutes violated starting with the Public Label TREASON. By the time prosecuting get done assembling the initial charges, the list could be in the dozens, at least.
PROSECUTING TREASON
Three key elements are necessary for an offense to constitute treason: an obligation of allegiance to the legal order, and intent and action to violate that obligation.

TREASON is the prosecutorial ‘Brand’ or branding of the crime. It will be broken down to specific criminal and civil statutes.
TREASON is the social media rallying cry, the historical descriptor and a very apt one, the ‘grouping term’ that contains all related violations and crimes. Its definition is fitting and its translation to prosecuting charges is orderly and compelling.
TREASON - Two Syllables, easy to remember, easy to digest, emotionally charged, excellent campaign issue, historical marker.

What was happening on or about September 2nd ( date ) of e-mail, that Obama wants to know “Everything we are doing”. My guess? The ‘Insurance Policy’.

Um .. I imagine Scooter Libby would beg to differ.
Due Process is the ideal, the goal, the required process. But goals have often been twisted by groups who are politically weaponized.
Mueller is likely not prosecuting or he is dropping charges because his own *ss is being handed to him. I do not believe for a second he is a secret combatant faithful to the Trump camp.
I prefer three syllables: rule of law. Respect for the rule of law must outweigh any transient, emotion-based appeals for revenge. Revenge makes us a banana republic. The opposition already started down that road. It is up to us to turn it around.
This is the only definition that matters

The Founding Fathers well remember their history i.e., Charles II, Bloody Assizes & Judge Jeffreys. then treason accusations and trials were handed out like candy!
