Sorry, Lance, let someone with more credibility get behind it.
I think it’s one of these “redemptive” moves he’s undertaking.
Remember the good-old-days when people who disgraced themselves and shamed their whole family slinked away out of sight somewhere and saved us the embarrassment of having to deal with them?
Shame? Thats so 20th Century.
FWIW, if you think he’s the only one your sadly mistaken.
He may still be the greatest of all time. I know for a fact, virtually ALL those competitors are doped up. So they are all more or less competing at a similar level.
Or in our own troops when/if so-called psychotropic anti-anxiety drugs are prescribed to allay the naturally-occurring fear of/in combat makes the trooper unnaturally eager and brave?
This is the kind of concept exploited in the Hollywood-caricaturized action movie heroes.
He may be running low on funds...
The narrator begins the documentary by describing his own experimentation as a serious amateur cyclist. Using "doping" his personal performance improved roughly 30%. That's an impossible hurdle to overcome by other means, which is another way of basically confirming your assertion.
Rather than pretend that it isn't happening, top competitive sports would be better served by sponsoring research and testing aimed at ensuring such enhancement regimes are safe and open.
It was an Obama Administration's NGO that destroyed Armstrong's credibility with a U.S. taxpayer funded investigation.
Apparently he didn't kiss Obama's ring. So he had to be destroyed.
Look what happened to Tom Brady. A report of slightly underinflated footballs became a major investigation. Why didn't the NFL just say "knock it off?"
Brady must have refused to kiss the ring too.
+1 for "Just STFU Lance and go get an honest job at the Jiffy Lube and live happily ever after."
“NGO that destroyed Armstrong’s credibility with a U.S. taxpayer funded investigation.”
So should we be like Russia and fund and enforce the doping instead?
Why is this foul, honor-free little man Armstrong still stinking up the public square?
Who said anything about funding doping?
We shouldn't be funding frivolous investigations and litigation as a way to punish political opponents.
Isn't that a timely subject.
