This guy will be the one that brings the Arab world to the 21st century.
He’s going to be the most consequential leader in that part of the world since Turkey’s Ataturk. We should root for his success.

He needs a strong military. He needs to follow the path of The Shah of Iran. The Shah was pro-western, the 900# military gorilla in the ME and secular compliant.
Admittedly, the Shah was ruthless, but the Ayatollah was also.
I used to wish for the day the House of Saud had to roam from oasis to oasis to feed their family, but have softened since MbS has taken charge. Certainly wouldn’t trust the Saud regime on my 180.
