Wonder if this is in addition to the reported 150,000 moved to the border regions? And then there are the refuge camps near the border reported to be under construction by the Chinese.

Next question: will these troops be like the 27 Army that brutally killed thousands in Tienanmen Square - forbidden to read any news source, told only what the cadre want them to know?

Why do they need missile batteries? Are they anti-air or surface to surface?

The CCP are typical bureaucratic Marxists. Decisions are collective and they are analyzed from every angle and for the message it sends.

Kim is a threat to their own stability. They want a buffer state between them and Japan/USA, and under no circumstances want a united Korea aligned with the USA. but Kim has become a real liability, and simply his nukes, on China’s borders, are a threat.

Expect Kim to eventually be killed in a coup. China will be there to help his successors

"The batteries would prevent the violent outpouring of those reservoirs into China in the event of an airstrike."

How will missile batteries prevent flooding?
