A Kern County judge on Monday night ruled in favor of the owner Tastries Barkery in a case over refusing to design and bake a cake for a same-sex wedding.
The ruling stated California could not force the Bakery's owner, Cathy Miller, to make cakes that would go against her beliefs.

Yeah Kern County probably has the only judge with a modicum of common sense. This wont be a trend.
I cant imagine a more grinding business than the wedding industry. A true nightmare factory.
Mrs. L did it for over 17 years. It damned near killed her.

Smart, as in self-preserving, but hardly principled

I do agree. I suspect if you were this baker & did not want to defer, the court ruling would not have gone your way.
What hateful, vile creatures.
In Stalin’s USSR, these two would be putting the bullets in the backs of the heads of the dissenters, all without one iota of thought or concern.
Which means that this really wasn’t a “win.”
Copycat grifters. I guess they might as well give it a shot only problem it’s already been done. Nothing new to see here.
These lesbians likely didn’t act on their own, but were contacted, coached and provided legal support and other backing for their action by the various homo-Gestapo organizations.
It’s self-evident how vicious and wicked these groups are. Notice that they had the state prevent Masterpiece Cakes in Colorado from providing ANY wedding cakes while the case is going through adjudication. So many more couples are denied services because of the demand of a minuscule contrived victim group. The same with adoption agencies. The Gaystapo would rather have FEWER outlets for adoption than for a few such agencies to defer to natural families for placement of orphans.
IMO, they’re not upset as much at losing in court as they are being mocked for being gold-digging queers.
The court ordered that other baker to pay $135,000.00 to the “aggrieved” couple.
.
Different state, different circumstances.
Thanks.
Suspicions confirmed! Thanks.
Can I get an "AMEN!!!"?

In fact that is the truth. The first two years of welding you learn the nuances of grinding down the pigeon poop welds of your superiors.
Dont ask me how I know this -
By the way, ugly couple...
