He sounded evasive at some things though. Like his write up on claiming close Kremlin ties.
I think there is more there like he was really worrying for CIA but can’t say anything about that.

It was Laura’s fault. The guy couldn’t concisely get to the point. He talked in circles. He didn’t strike me as extremely bright. In fact, he seemed insufferable. I would hate to be at any meeting where he spoke. He never gets to the point and he likely has no point anyway. I’m not shocked he was in and out if the Trump orbit fairly quickly. No one would have the patience to interact with this guy. With all that said, I have no idea what to make if him.
Laura is doing a tv show. He doesn’t answer fast enough. He’s awful. Interview him off the air....because it will take 3 hours fir him to get to the point. I don’t know who this Page guy is, but being around him gives you that same feeling you get when your driving on a twisty mountain road behind a dude doing 35 mph and can’t pass him. It’s hard to imagine he’s a spy. Its hard to imagine he’s anything for that matter. I can’t even believe he’s employed.

Carter Page was a setup to open up the surveillance mechanisms to monitor everyone in his web of contact. Americans cannot imagine the level of technical capability of our surveillance system. In the hands of a barbaric national bureaucracy, I can imagine blackmail for political manipulation. Justice John Roberts comes to mind.
Laura wrote a book called “SHUT UP AND SING”!! She needs to SHUT UP AND LET THEM TALK!!
re-watched it— she was OK, although 2020 hindsight, she could have let him talk. He speaks in “clips” (kinda like trump), so is not a “talker” personality without a prepared speech. There’s that.
Will say that Laura’s questions were almost the same and in the same order as Stephanopoulos on Sundays ABC show. And that in both Page’s “history” with the FBI was as an asset in russian espionage cases (See comments below- he was more than that).
But— the entire show was great- the Byron York, Mollie Hemingway and Cong. DeSantis(R) from House Intel. And especially Victor Davis Hanson... brilliant.
All were respectful of not destroying what living Page might try to get in the future in Russia,(and probably because they don’t read Conservative Treehouse who nailed that Page had been a paid undercover agent in a real espionage case where Preet Baharra convicted the russian. He worked for the FBI as an employee for nearly 5 or more years prior to ever being FISA warranted Title I, and was a patsy fabricated as a foreign agent, by the head of the DOJ Nat. Security Division-John Carlin at the time for the second attempt at FISA warrant (lied about again by McCabe) in Oct. 2016, which got the ruling so they could set up Flynn. Fabricated to get the full Title I that allowed all the “oops” full surveillance on others— Flynn and Trump from Oct. 2016- through transition, and renewed in 2017 by Rosenstein!!). Now that is a story! Huge crimes.

Well i am convinced he was an undercover employee of the fbi back in 2015 when they indicted a real russian spy named Buryakov(which treehouse/sundance pretty well figured out). So he was OK with the fbi then. Then 8 months later he’s a spy- called that to get the FISA warrant? Just weird.
Page has a business in energy consulting. Goes to Russia to a college there to give a talk for maybe $10,ooo. Says hello for 2 seconds to a real govt. official, and that’s it. No other contact other than his prior, what he called being a “witness” (which treehouse said he was undercover fbi).
Ann- am thinking he might have been placed there. Nobody has asked him anything about being the undercover employee. Wish that someone would ask if he’s still with the fbi.
Whether or not he was an employee and sent to trump campaign then a real crook at DOJ John Carlin (people who use people all the time) created him into a spy against the US so they could get the all encompassing Title I level massive surveillance on him, so they could get so called incidental intercepts of other people (like Flynn). No way to know— except that after all these months... Page has not been charged with a crime (maybe that was intended all along, to trap Trump).
Police give up their “paid” and unpaid informants all the time— to get a conviction when they need one. And it is corrupt.
This is all am thinking may have been going on... at this point. Sorry for being obtuse. Carlin resigned- and is a member of the bad cabal in my opinion. And Carter Page seemed unruffled from months of massive intrusion in his life. But Victor Davis Hanson may have the best look on the whole thing- that man is brilliant.
Top 10%s of graduating class US Naval Academy. 5 year as a naval officer, and in the ME. He is imho a cyber warrior type guy from the modern techie navy— not ship of the line combat commander type. More like computer or physics guy. So, he’s in oil and other energy consulting (uranium?).
Not a good interviewee— and can imagine how boring his speech was in Russia— maybe not to the locals.
And then along comes Trump and the CORRUPT Deep State needed a MOLE inside the campaign who they could insert to get all the info to DESTROY Trump.....kind of like "chain migration" spying since ANYONE who came into contact with Carter was spied on and ANYONE these people came in contact with were spied on!!
This would explain WHY he's been under surveillance for so many years and he has NO LAWYERS and keeps very calm.
Yep, and having a secret “permanent waiver of prosecution” from his pals in the DOJ. Which can be revoked. Go to the US Naval Academy and shop yourself out as a rent-a-undercover cop, willing to take any crap at all. Hence the vacant facial affect, and weird smile.
DC is full of weenies like this, no matter what he turns out to be. Paid weasel, fake weasel in the hall of mirrors.
