Why was it out of its holster?

Why didn’t she check her holster before leaving the restroom?

Clearly she doesn’t keep it holstered on her person regularly. If she did, she would have noticed the missing weight of her firearm.

If your gun is in a holster, why would you take the gun out to go to the bathroom? (I don’t know anything about guns and holsters)

I agree with you, there is something amiss here. I carry in the front pocket, with my wallet in a rear pocket. I habitually pat each pocket as I leave a building or vehicle to see if both objects are still there. When I carry holstered the weapon never leaves me, there’s no reason to remove it, not even for bathroom duties.

She needs to be canned. Some little twerp could have found it and considering today’s mindless youth, pulled the trigger.
