An avowed anti-Semite, Holocaust denier and former leader of the American Nazi Party is set to become the Republican nominee for a congressional seat in Illinois, the Chicago Sun-Times reported on Sunday.
Arthur Jones, 70, is running unopposed in the GOP primary for Illinois' 3rd Congressional District on March 20, making him a shoo-in to face the Democratic incumbent in the November election. Jones has stood for public office many times since the 1970s, always unsuccessfully.

and now democrats will be able to say “see America, we told you so”. This guy has to be rejected, not elected.
Of course, this gets big news because he has an R after his name.
The Dems are almost certainly running a pro-abortion, life denying, anti-normal candidate. Why is this guy worse?
The Democrat will win this seat, but the nation media will cover it as if it were a presidential election.
Chicago Nazis vs Democrats? Oh that’s a good one. Is it June 41? Socialists vs socialists. If he is a Nazi why isn’t he running as such? Its not like the party is banned. This is a set up. Next the headlines “Trump supports Nazi blah blah blah.”
There's a campaign slogan for you.
Yeah, there's a reason these guys run unopposed.
Several Democrats had the same opinion, especially those connected to NOI.
Illinois 3rd district has not had a GOP rep. in 40 years. Jones has NO opponents in the primary because nobody in the GOP applied in this long shot race.
Although odious the Jones candidacy doesn’t mean much politically.
If true, PDJT should tweet he disavows him and does not endorse.
I don’t think the way to defeat the leftist agenda is to openly support NAZI party leaders.
True.

That’s the key point right there. This would be exactly like if an ISIS supporter applied for the Democrat nomination in a heavily GOP district. The ISIS supporter might get it. And it would mean nothing.
The Republican party will take anyone in these areas. In CT a friend of mine was a democrat for his whole life, but couldn’t run under that ticket. Saturation.
So he simply went to the GOP and they took him in. Was on the ballots that month. WTF ?
When Lieberman was the only “Right-wing dem” he was in the articles all the time for being so bad for the party.
Actually, the Democrat, Dan Lepinski is pro life.
