Because I think it would say something about the mindset of the FBI. I can understand very well why one would keep a thermite grenade next to every safe full of confidential documents in an embassy in a foreign country, especially after the Iran Crisis. If the FBI has them does that mean they consider themselves to be in a “hostile country”? If so, perhaps they should be closed down.
