My hat is off to those who had the fortitude to continue the boycott, but for my part, though I didn’t watch a game all season, I’ve been waiting all my life for the Birds to win the big one. Now, finally, I can die.
I didn’t watch this season so I wasn’t going to ruin it by watching tonight. Not that it would matter but I don’t need the extra stress anyway. Here in Bucks there was lots of fireworks and car horns.
I’m very happy for you and all the Eagles fans in my family. Being a woman I don’t get upset when they lose a game.
I’m also glad I bought my son an eagles shirt for Christmas. I was tempted to burn it because of the kneeling (I’m a Gold star sister) but it was up to him. I hope he wears it to work tomorrow. They didn’t kneel.
IIRC, there was an early (before the 4:00PM pregame) spot about a Philly fan who died last year. He requested that his pallbearers all be Eagles so......wait for it.....they could let him down one more time. The spot interviewed the guys wife.
