From wikipedia about the FISA court and how it is put together:

“When the court was founded, it was composed of seven federal district judges appointed by the Chief Justice of the United States, each serving a seven-year term, with one judge being appointed each year. In 2001, the USA PATRIOT Act expanded the court from seven to eleven judges, and required that at least three of the Court’s judges live within twenty miles (32 km) of the District of Columbia. No judge may be appointed to this court more than once, and no judge may be appointed to both the Court of Review and the FISA court.

As of 2017, Chief Justice John Roberts has appointed all of the current judges, four of whom were nominated to their District Court judgeships by a Democratic President.[2]”

you set up a ‘secret court’ and empower it to secretly issue individual and ‘general warrants’ (mass-scale searches and seizures) against American citizens, their property, and privacy rights

and... you get what you asks for.

tyranny.

one of several major reasons the British colonists (or 30 percent of them, at least) fought a revolution against King George was that the King’s government was executing secret warrants and doing so against American settlers on a mass scale, exactly like this

so long as the secret FISA court is permitted to exist, this danger against Americans will continue.

It’s becoming clearer by the day that the FISC is Deep State.

FISA secret court is also unconstitutional in the extreme..

John Roberts swore in the Kenyanesian Usurper a second time in private, both times.
Then he re-wrote the unAffordable Care Act from the bench rather than rule it out.

I have less confidence in John Roberts than I have in Lindsay Graham.

Correct. These blanket warrants were called "writs of assistance"...

In addition, the report cites that at the same time that Obama’s DOJ and FBI were illegally searching Americans against their rights and unbeknownst to them, Obama’s FBI was providing this information to outside contractors who had no business or legal cause or claim to the information. [Some people suspect that one of these contractors may have been Fusion GPS.]

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

funny how the report of Fusion GPS having “contractor” status with the Fibbers and spying on US citizens through FISA exceptions went dark in the past couple weeks

The political anti-Trump sources of the information were not provided to the court....

It appears that now goNadler is saying that it was. If so the courts would have some explaining to do.

Otherwise, as I think is the case, the courts can cover themselves by saying they trusted the integrity of the agents presenting the evidence, and the properly signed surveillance requests.

Yeah!!! President Trump will be appointing a lot new judges. It sounds like the corruption was massive. It’s going to take a lot of work and an act of God to find evidence on all of them.

Yes, that's obvious. What is fascinating is watching the patriot spring offensive unfold.

Trump survived the deep-state decapitation strike with the treacherous appointment of the SC. Now, we're watching the counter-offensive slowly begin to gain shape and form.

Trump wisely and patiently is using the very legal system against the thoroughly corrupt administrative and judiciary actors themselves. One by one, they will be outed, neutralized, discredited, and ultimately punished.

This roll-up is 100% guaranteed - at this point, it's just a methodical process that needs to be followed according to well established procedural rules. But, the end isn't in doubt: the treasonous conspirators have no viable means of escape.

I oppose any listening to US citizens by any form of government or private industry. It should be an invasion of privacy charge.

Some say, “Well, you’re setting the US up for attack.”

I agree. That gives a bit more of an opening to those who would harm us.

In my view, we should not remedy that by violating our constitution. We remedy it by our response.

The answer is to go 100% shock and awe on anyone who would violate our security. Make such a lesson of them that those thinking of the same thing will realize that they and theirs will be wiped out.

“The current group of FISA Court judges needs to be investigated and if corrupt or criminal, removed from the court.”

And just who, one might ask, would do the investigation? That would presume we actually had any investigators.

My understanding from legal people who have commented is that a judge has a responsibility to actually look at the documents and supposed evidence presented to obtain a warrant and determine its legitimacy.

If so, a judge knows he has bogus evidence and becomes complicity.

Or, a judge is hoodwinked by a masterful lying application, and afterwards should be extremely PO’d and set about rocking the liar’s world.
